This is how I layed out the components in my projector. Your panel may have different components but the idea is the same. The lamp is actually mounted at a 45º angle, this is to keep the lamp arc on center with the optics. Below you can see the mogul base mounted at the 45º angle. The fan has yet to be installed in this shot.
This method only applies to the MH400U lamp. If using a reflector this arrangement will be different. Please refer to the user forums for designs using a reflector.
