I was looking at the specs for a dell 15" 1504FP and noticed that it has an optimal preset resolution of "1600 x 1400" and a maximum resolution up to 1024x768. Cananybody explain the difference between the 2?

it looks as if whoever wrote those specs goofed. if it's a 15 inch panel the resolution is most likely 1024x768.

Like duct said, 1024x768 is it's native resolution (actual number of pixels) 25ms response is pretty average also.
