Hello all, I'm new to this site and well I can tell I want to make my DIY projector no matter how shitty it turns out. BUt I realized that my wife spends all my money and that I do not have much. So, how do you ebay successfully? Like, how can I tell if I'm going to get ripped off or prevent it the best I can? I have bought one thing off ebay and the experience was pretty good but that was 6 years ago or 5ish.

Im hardcore DIY and probably going to build everything from scratch if I can so I probably need Ebay since I'm stuck living in dresden, Germany (if your from here and want to talk say something) and things here are pretty expensive.

first thing i look for is atleast 98% positive feedback of atleast 100 feedbacks and less then 2 negatives in the past 6 months.
Other then that look for the best price you can find , and sometimes try to look for sellers close to you within 200 miles and you usually get stuff within 2 days.

not so sure you can rely on feedback score if you look at the 100" projection fresnel lens sites they all have 98%+ scores, alway's wondered were all the happy customers come from.
