How did you make the text look like it was wrapping around the bell? Just fiddling or graphics expert?

Thanks. Just drew it on using paint. Tried to match the curvature of the letters with the curvature of the bell. Turned out nicely!

I suggest Brain make a purchase of those popular pants that females are wearing that have stuff printed on the butt cheek area. I suspect the vast majority of builders on this site frequently find themselves "noticing" what's printed on those! (I work on a college campus BTW.)

I am (somewhat) ashamed to say I find myself frequently pulling up that image at random times during the workday. I have also added it to my profile personal photo. Those pants really, truly do look much better with LUMENLAB on them. You should've seen the way she squirmed when I was smoothing out those pants to get all the wrinkles out for that photograph! Personally, I thought they were a little loose, but she disagreed. Gotta go now . . . I'm starting to sweat.

Brainchild and crew..... we NEED to get a spot on that DIY cable channel. Wouldnt be suprised if your already on this.

The odds are that there looking for new DIY projects all the time. I really think we would see memberships soar. Also, it would be a great medium to showcase the art, and seperate us from any association with 150" TV scams. Think about it..... the people who dont do ebay...... and dont do the techy internet sites.... WATCH CABLE TV!! Those are the folks we arent reaching.

I really think all it would take is a breif powerpoint presentation or somthing. Odds are this project will be showcased on that channel sooner or later, lets make it LUMENLAB thats showcased along with it, as its the most consice, well organized and well read community on the topic in the US.

Good idea Snowfin (funny too)- The "not enough info" marketing approach is good, makes them want to go to the website. We could come up with t-shirts too, if someone who's good on PhotoShop or any other grafics program could post it so everyone could download on transfer paper and DIY our t-shits. Maybe I'll start a tread on "catch phrase" ideas and we could choose a couple as the basis for our design?

Okay, here is a proposal for Brain:

A bumper sticker, treated as a merit badge. Complete your projector and show results, and you get your PJ builder's badge of honor - a bumper sticker that reads something like "I got my 120 inches - you can, too. Lumenlab.com"

Once results are presented, send an S.A.S.E. to get your merit badge. Downside is printing cost, upside is an added membership perk and continual advertisement of LL directly in the public's face. Brain gets permanent ad space, we all get a way to give back to and expand the community and bragging rights every time someone asks us about it. I would do it, no question.

Depending on quantity, bumper stickers can be had as low as 10 cents apiece.
