I've been tracking mine as it makes its way across North America and back, hopefully I'll get mine on Monday or Tuesday. I've been waiting for the new lens to redo the projector (full stealth when not in use). Surprisingly my wife is also anxious for the new lens to show up! I am truly amazed!

Nope the Pro lens needs to be around 8-9" farther from the Lcd.

Thanks. Shouldn't be too big a problem as I have a moveable lens box. Not sure if it has 8-9 inches of extension, but remaking a lens box is a heck of a lot nicer than remaking the whole shebang:)

8 or nine inches more? my projector box is already 3 feet long? or are you saying 8 or 9 inches more than a regular lens kit? My box is the old varifocal box, so its already bigger than a regular lens kit.

Your box is good to go.

Mine got delevered today, picture is far better even with my box partly apart for a rebuild. The lens and focus box are in almost the exact position of the old Pro Lens, not 8 or 9" further out. That comment had me worried as according to my calculations everything was going to just fit in the new "box".
