Just installed my LCD (stripped) and pluged up my laptop to it. It has black lines running up and down it....What does this mean, am I doing something wrong?

FFC= flat flexable cable
Its those brown/orange strips of plastic that connect the circuit boards to the glass and some times the circuit boards themselves
