Have a friend that kinda has alot of
lens's from big screen tv's.. any ideas? any good?
any thoughts?

Most are made for a curved CRT.

When used with an LCD you cannot focus the entire screen. Either the middle or the edges not both.

ok thats probably why theres that liquid that sorounds tha lens huh/

good thinking tho. just thought i woulda droped a line...

the faces of *all RPTV tubes are flat, however the glycol and cup lens makes it special, only ones you can use for LCD panels are the ones from the CRT front projectos since the glycol resivour is flush.

Ive tried to use them before but the optics demand that stupid copped glycol thing.

*I have yet to see a curved tube but who knows there may be.
