I did it and you will not believe the difference it makes.

You will have to turn down the brightness on the screen about halfway after the mod. And it makes a HUGE difference , everything is finally viewable after the mod.

was just reading this and was wondering what exactly the mod does.

my best guess is that it makes the projected picture brighter or better somehow?

i am a new member trying to build a cheap ass psone projector with parts from a ohp that seems like it was from the 70s.

i stripped the lcd from the psone just fine, but was wondering if I should do the bightness mod for some reason.

Don't forget to remove the A/G.... and maybe use a switch to wire up the brightness mod.

Ok OK Ok just kidding this mod involves adding a jumper wire and what it does is bring up the brightness low end.

In other words you can wash out the screen faster then on a stock psone.

I was set at full bright without the mod, after the mod im down to about half way.


If you take your time doing this you can allways remove it later (but you wont)LOL
