Hi, I currently have an lcd sitting on a ohp dukane 4003, which gives me a reasonable picture, but now I finally decided I want to build something a little better. That's why I joined this form to get some real help. My question is can I just gut my ohp, use the frensel, lens an for now the light till I can upgrade to metal halide. I figure I have everything all ready, so all I need is a box. Also what's a good setup so I can focus, since I will be moving it around. Thanks

Yeah you can gut the OHP and upgrade one part at a time. I suggest that you dod little research first to make sure your box is big enought to take what ever upgrades ypou think you'll be intreested in the future so you don't have to rebuild with every upgrade.

hey thanks. And I just want to say wow this site is great alot of info, but I have 1 question or rather for someone to check my measurements. Ok my lcd is 15", and I believe my focal lens is 327mm (that's what it says on the lens on my ohp), my screen is 100", so if I am using the calculator right my lcd distance should be 376.05mm, and the screen distance about 8.2 ft, right?
