Basically, from my very limited quantum mechanics knowledge, I believe this allows you to seperate two photons (like siamese twins) and have one on the opposite side of the earth. Then, whatever happens on one photon will cause the other photon to act the exact same way.
Eventually, you could be able to use this in things like satellites to get instantaneous data retrieval without having to send any information between the satellite and the ground control.
