Hi there

As a newbie I have hit my first major hurdle amd would seek advice from the forum.

I have a 16 pin ffc that I need to extend It is approx 1cm wide. I will attempt to attach a bad pics take with my phone.

It belongs to a 7 inch lcd.

it has a 16 pin zif connector on the pcb.

Looking for a way to extend this by approx 4 inches

Please help

Thanks in advance..

Have you checked the store to see if they have the ffc extension that will match?

yeah, that was the first place i checked. They have a 16 pin but it is a .5mm pitch so it's much wider.

This ffc is approx 9mm wide

p.s great cases that you build .....

Hi there TESCORP,

Was just wondering if you ship to australia and if so what would a box for a 15" lcd cost me in total. I guess I tried the idea of doing wood work but I'm quite useless with powertools.

Let me know via email below.

Thanks heaps

The picture looks really close to a .5mm pitch. A 16 would be just over 8mm wide.
