AG is short for anti-glare, a coating on almost all LCDs.... it helps in normal LCD use by diffusing reflections, however it has deleterious effects in a projection.... there are anti-glare threads in the "extreme mods" sction of lumenlab...however, you don't need to do anything at all.... people have been using their pjs for years with it on, removing it MAY make your picture brighter and more detailed, however it does come with some risk...best to read the anti-glare threads first so you know the pros and cons, check and see if someone has already removed the AG from your make of LCD, there is a seperate thread for successfule removals that states LCD type, but don't rush into it.... your pj will work great no matter what! ;-)
