Hi,

Anybody from Singapore to share experience doing DIY projection? I know new LCDs are cheaper here compared to other coutries like US and UK (CMV CT- 529 Model A170E1-X03 US$276 brand new) but availability of 2nd hand for sale is the other way around. Also the EYE bulb is not available locally, only Philips and Osram is available. Got hard time also sourcing mirrors and tempered glass.
I got my lenses from lumenlab few days ago and still figuring out how to start since carpentry works is needed and thats the problem also here. Need to get permit to do some :angry: . The neighbor might complain me to the apartment management. thats why I'm thinking to follow the idea of Joe for the aluminum casing. So excited . Since I'm not permanent here in SG as well, Im looking for something that can easily transport overseas (plane), probably something detachable hmmmm.

Just wondering if you might have any links to online stores that can ship to Australia for the LCD panels. I've bought plenty from over there before and it is much cheaper than anything local. Might be a good source of panels for us Aussies.
