Some thing is wrong here Two kids that age paintbrushes in hand, PJ painted and not one drop of paint on them???????
If I remember right I got 2 pickets painted at their age before getting into a paint fight with my brother before the paint thinner bath and a good hosing with the outside spigot
This has been one of the most interesting and informitive plogs for me and it is sorta sad to see it done. May the heat of the AZ sun be gentle to you and your family.
Heres to the next one,

Well thank you vary much for the kind words.
I did have a bucket full of soapy watter and a towel when painting. The kids 4 and 6 did fine but I was right behind them smoothing out runs and drips. They still take pride in their painting job. These days it's important to have the kids learn by doing with real objects.
For a dad this is almost as good as it gets, I'm a lucky man.
yellaasian; I know there are UV gels but I'm not sure I need one. I think the LCD should block most of it. In some of the older examination of the many layers of the LCD one was a UV block.
weldonjb; I have the stock lens cap from the OHP that the lens came from but I just never mounted it. I don't really like the stock metal lens cap and may just make a black bag with elastic sewn into it.
It is almost funny how hard I tried not to let the sun get the LCD and yet it happened again and again. I would but a large piece of vinyl on it at night and a storm would blow in later and just flip a little of the lens so the sun would get it again. It will make a good test LCD for the BIG one.
This Barny thing is getting a little out of hand,

I asked the 4 year old if the PJ looked like barny and the said "no Barny has green on the belly" so there is no resemblance to the purple dino.
You know Barny is just about the right shape for a vertical build? Really.
But would I still have the uncontrollable urge to shoot the PJ after an hour?
