http://www.americanantigravity.com/index.shtml I built a small one that only used 20,000 volts it lifts faster then you can blink the only thing that keeps it from going threw the roof is the teathers. You can smell alot of ozone in the air also. If you touch it you will DIE!! It is very stable in the air and makes no noise. lots of fun biggrin.gif
2ndSeason
I checked out the front page, looks cool.

Without reading through the site, are there any practical applications right now for this? I mean, are these lifters in use anywhere for more than just fun? Just curious.

Looks like a great place for a super villian to start working on a weapon for the next James Bond movie. Or Austin Powers movie.

Just fun for now Wuhahahahaha (mad scientist laff) Ever sean the Fith element? Now thats a taxi. biggrin.gif

Antigravity ?, give me a break!.

The moment I saw the name "Art Bell" in that website, well... need I say more ?.

Jones I built one and it works. If you build one you will understand.

I'm sure what you built works, what I'm saying is that calling it "antigravity" is a stretch. Antigravity is the ability to allow a mass to reject another mass (like two opposing magnets rejects each other). This triangle project is not it, the mass of the earth still pull the mass of this triangle, there is no "antigravity" here. The electrons are positioned in a way which gives the triangle a net movement, but this net movement is artificial and can be positioned into any direction ones wish (i.e also down to earth), an antigravity force should naturaly only be able to let an object get away from earth, but never get closer to it. also, it will work better in space than on earth, so calling it "antigravity" is simply B.S.

What really seemed like an antigravity effect to me, was the Hutchison Effect, but since he was unable to recreate this effect with real scientists using a controlled environment, it seems bogus too.

The Searl-Effect is another bogus, unsubstantiated claim. The only one claiming this thing ever flew is its inventor, which by a miracles way say all of the original schematic to make such a device was lost, due to the public low interest when it was first shown in the 60's. Now he's trying to make people believe he can build it again, with the team he assembled. Yeah, right.

All in all, in the entire AmericanAntigravity site there is not even one substantiated claim which shows antigravity exists. It just seems like another foolish "Cost to Cost AM" show, hosted by the notorious Art Bell.

That would be 'coast'. Yeah calling it the antigravity thing is stupid but ionic propulsion is cool. Old tesla tech made new.

Well Jones I just said "check this out". It was a lot of fun to build. biggrin.gif

Art only hosts the weekends now! sad.gif

I like the show for excatly the reasons that many other people don't. Sometimes the topics are actual science, sometimes they are just plain nuts. But always entertaining, even if just to poke fun at the guests some nights. Tesla stuff is pretty interesting.

Antigravity it is not, but still a pretty cool item.

Didn't someone test one of those in a large vaccum and it didn't move? I thought I read that somewhere?

Kewl site. Looks like fun to try.
magic_mat123
thats so cool. I thought it might be good in magic acts. LoL i am into doing magic and i thought it would be good on starge or something? LOL biggrin.gif

i found the coanda effect on american antigravity.
this guy has made models to fund his full scale plane.

very cool

http://www.iwatoyco.com/

antigravity? not really. it's much like how airplanes fly, basic pressure difference between the top and the bottom of the craft, simulated by electricity rather than movement to create lift.

another is similar to Thomas Townsend Brown 'electrogravity'

JLN Nautin's "Lifters" ... limited at the moment ... but they do work!

and this guy ... he's the MAN!

one more laugh.gif
art bell has a 1000ft loop antenna with no electrical input, and he's getting 400volts out of the air. very cool.

I found an interesting add on to my signature there. Neat site.

We already have ionic air cleaners made to move air without a fan.

Now, if we could just get them to move enough air to cool/filter a projector or a PC silently...! smile.gif
Super_Bob
that iwatoyco thing is quite interesting, it can work through air or through water, i wander if its possible to build one that does both (probable limitation would be that the airframe stiffend for water would be too heavy for air).
Remdaddy
Me and a buddy played with this a couple of years ago.
Fun and cool. But short lived.
Great for your kids science fair-- as long as you don't fry them.

George Noory will be having 'Anti-Gravity' as a subject on Tuesday night (Dec. 28th). They will be talking about these 'Lifters' i think.
