I have been researching these forums for a while, this is the first time to LL. I was wondering why nobody has ever built there LCD projector inside of a booth instead of a box.
I built a small booth for my OHP projector, it works great. Cuts down on fan noise, light emission, there is room for my computer and a small monitor and I can work on the projector and tweak it without having to take it apart. It gets plenty of air to cool the lenses, Plus it gives the room the feel of a real theater.

I have thought about this idea a lot for the sole reasons of cutting down on heat issues,light spillage and noise.
My place is too small for one but I'd love to see some pics of a successful one..
