anyone has tried to strip this philips 150B6CS2 15 inches lcd monitor 4:3?the power supply is embeded inside the unit...can this be use for diy projection system?
is it possible to project a widescreen 16:9 130 inches diagonal using 15 inches 4:3 lcd panel?

I don't know for certain about hte monitor.

For a 16:9 projection, that's up to the softwar that you use to project with. You can use Powerstrip to limit the area of the panel used from a PC to 1024X576 16:9 aspect ratio, but be warned that thinge like the POST screns and bios will use the full 4:3 area of the panel, as well as many 3D accellerated games.
