Now I know how you got yer name.
Building with 3/4" plywood. 5 to 10 pounds each? I'm thinking one on each of two opposing sides for two panels total. Provide access to HTPC and main workings of projector.
Floor.
Nope, don't need access. I want to be able to pull 'em and get to the guts for tweaking, maintenance, etc.
The rest of the carcass will be structurally self-supporting.
You thinkin' "Dzus"?

No Dzus.
From your earlier picture.
A = horizontal panel
B = vertical panel
1. Cut B about an 1/8" shorter but don't cut all the way through on the right so
you end up with a small hidden recess. Then use velcro on A and B within the recess.
2. Cut a length of steel angle iron. Attach to B but leave a small gap on the side
toward A and use a strip magnet.
But you'll need some sort of handle or method of pulling the panel off.
Also, perhaps some plastic fasteners used for speaker grills.
