Maybe you should read that again its resolution is really 1280x768 the max resolution (i.e. fastest signal it can capture and scale is the 1400x1050, which doesn't get you anytghing) So this looks like its using the same panel as the Proview 15.4 WS which has been found to be OK but not great.

Is is still vary low cost. Did the person with the proview 15.4 make a plog?

Yah but it can still handle 720p, which is what really matters. It has a great response time and a great price also.

I have not seen a good, completed plog for a proview 15.4. I have one of these monitors which I scored back in the spring. Initially I was planning to use the standard LL triplet lens with the DIYPC fresnels, which would have put the box somewhere above my coffee table, which woulda been OK. However, with the pro lenses now almost here, I kinda like the idea of putting it into the adjacent room (which is my workshop) and having it project through a hole in the wall. So when I finally get lenses and can get to work in the new year, I'll do my best to put together a decent plog.
