Where is the ideal location of the lcd in the box. Should it be behind the slot (toward the back of the projector) or in front of the slot toward the projection lens? I am worried about air flow over the Lcd.

What I am looking for is to make sure this is clear. I have read the guide several times, and studied the digram's. But one digram has the LCD behind the slot toward the back of the projector and one has it in front. I also read Dethray's Plog and looked at his digram. I have been reading a lot. So where does the LCD need to go in the case? You could say I am a little confused!

It should go on the triplet side of the slot. On a standard design, air comes in the top, in between the lcd and fresnels, under the glass/lexan and out the back of the box. This is done to create an air channel that allows ventilation to occur properly. If you put the lcd on the lamp side of the slot then you will effectively be creating a vacuum on the lamp side since you've cut off the air coming in from the slot. This is just for a standard setup since other people may have designed their boxes with slots on the bottom for different mounting and cooling options. For a standard box just stick with the standard design in the guide. Good Luck!!
