Hey Everybody. I have my pro lenses on order and will be purchasing a new 17" panel as a xmas gift to myself (i was good this year). I stripped the anitglare from my old samsung 15" and was happy with the increased contrast and sharpness. As easy as the strip was I'd prefer to have a panel with an "anti-reflective coating". Sony has a product line with "xbrite" technology and I was hoping to try it out in a projector setting. So basically I have a couple of choices a 17" monitor and a 17" LCD TV, both by sony. Here are what I view as the pros and cons of each.

TV Specs vs Monitor Specs
Res: 1280x768 - 1280 x1024+
Response: 16ms- 8ms+
Pixel Pitch: .297mm- .264mm+
Contrast Ratio: 800:1 + 600:1-
No a/g No a/g
Remote Control+ No Remote-

Inputs: DVI HDCP (still not VGA, DVI -
sure what this can do for me),
VGA, Composite, Component
RCA Audio) +

TV Signal Compatability: 720p???
Widescreen HDTV would require N6 (bad quality)
480i,p
576p
720p
1080i scaled to 720p

Price: 489$$ (bye bye n6) 329$$

I like the functionality of the tv but the monitor is a better performer. What do you guys think? Input appreciated!
