While I wait for my supplies to arrive from LL( Im in New Zealand ,may take a little longer than usual)

I am eager to start my enclosuer , The bulb length I got from the diagram in the LL store , what about the lenght of the base?

I see a schmatic bigger than the basic LL guide of 14" by around 28"(720mm) will this enclose the s400dd bulb? If so I will start the box.

Or what is the optimal size i would need with the base screwed to the wall without any wood padding.

I know Im too eager but thats me.

I believe the interior measurement to mount a mogul on the side wall of your box and have it centered would be 355mm. That's assuming the moguls coming from LL are consistant in size. You can check out the other interior measurements of my project at
