Hi guys,

I have the option of getting a new InFocus LP70 Lamp (SP-LAMP-003) for around 100 US and am wondering if it would be possible to rig it into my next PJ build.

This would be my 2nd LL projector my first being one that I am really happy with based on Haasman's design.

I'm keen to try something a bit different and am not too worried about the fact that I may never get another cheap new PJ lamp. Most importantly I'm unsure of what voltages and amperage requirements this bulb would need, or even where to find out the specs.

Also am I wrong to think that this lamp would be an ideal option (apart from lamp life). I am assuming that it would be ideal due to it's nearly point light source?

Any comments are welcomed,

Lurch.

Do you have any specs on the lamp?
Do you have any specs on the required ballast?
If not forget it, these things need to be driven just right or they don't work right and could blow up (really blow up).
