You'll just need 24 sq feet of solar panel, and you can only run your PJ during the day smile.gif
Actually, a 12v plug-in transformer will do - just make sure it provides sufficient amperage for your load.
Have fun!

the evercool fans i have are rated to have .07A - .13A. do you know where i can get a plug-in transformer for something like that?

Here's one...

But there are many available out there - from RadioShack to Mouser to eBay.

You just need an adapter that will put out at LEAST that amperage. It can put out more but the fans will only draw that many amps .07A-.13A.

So any generic adapter from Wal-Mart or Radio Shack , etc wil work as long as it can be set to 12v.

i have the adaptor from the ll store. but thats not what i need. there is no place to connect that type of thing to the evercool fans. the connector for the evercool fans looks like it needs to be plugged into a computer

Ahhh - you're wondering how to wire them up given the existing connections? Just cut the connectors off the evercool wires, and splice and crimp to the 12v adapter wires. Believe the evercool wires can be unplugged from the fan entirely - which makes wiring a bit easier smile.gif

thanks for your help, i would have never figured that out.
