Can someome point me to a simple diagram of the orientation of an image from the lcd to screen when using a simple vertical design. Also, does the LCD "normal viewing side" face the lamp or the lens? I think it should face the lens as this is how it would be in the OHP that I'm using for my pj. But, I'm getting kinda confused as to which way it should be oriented in my box. sad.gif

I guess a good way to describe it is imagine you were placing a transparency on the ohp stage. viewable side facing the mirror and lens with the top of the screen towards the back. Hope that helps.

Yep, it does thanks, that's the way I thought it was but wanted to check because if it is that way, I need to bend my FFC cables (is that what they are called?) the opposite way to their natural bend. ohmy.gif Anyone any good (or bad) experiences of this?

Well, this is kind of a dead topic but it's yet another chance to plant my signature and promote my "tweaks" plog. Check my descriptions for LCD orientation (in the Hints & Kinks section) and my related diagram. Better late than never? tongue.gif
