I had a good experience purchasing the Samsung LTM1555 off of foodrey on Ebay. He's currently selling another now The LTM1555 was refurbished, but it was the DIY friendly model, and I bought it for a mere $325. It's in great working condition, so anyone looking for a good bargain on the LTM1555, he's the man to see. Just a lil FYI for ya.

$100 less than I paid. He gives me the creeps though. Wanted a money order. Had to twist his arm to get him to ship it, and it wasn't within the two business days he advertises, more like 5. Smart-alec replies on every email.

But, yes, the monitor actually arrived, very complete, and it great working order. Mine was the B model, but with the S suffix. Haven't fully stripped it yet, but seems, by many reports, that it is the non FFC issue one.

In case you've not looked into, nor heard of the famous Samsung LTM1555:

And actual wires. If you buy carefully.

I think the secret is to stay away from model numbers followed by a T, as one component or two is different, and uses a FFC.

Good: LTM1555B S, LTM1555X S.

Not so Good: LTM1555B T, LTM1555X T.

the B model is not that unfriendly to buy, its just 5 bucks in parts from digikey, i figured out how to fix it without soldering or making some bulky clamp.
