hey guys i got a 10" lcd monitor from a mcdonalds screen thing, its a sanyo LM-CF53-22NTK and the connector is some type of small ffc cable, its white, and it plugs into a regualr socket not a zif.


does anyone know if i can get this to vga?

i also have the controller thing that has connectors for the backlight, touch screen, and then it has two cables going out, i dont have the motherboard.

ill take pictures when i get home

the socket looks just like this on the monitor




that big ass grey flat cable on the bottem as a number that says ca-50ids2 and is a 50 pin connector
and the flat cable above that says fc-20p and is a 20 pin connector

I saw some controller board on ebay that gives you 6bit RGB (fcc) to s-video and VGA for $79.00

I have a 10.4" LCD too without controller and looking for some cheap contrller board.

I don't know if a controller from a cracked LCD monitor can be used ?
