ok im building a 17 inch projector and im looking at tigerdirect right now, and they seem to have a lot of nice moniters

do you guys know which is good 2 take apart and also looking for response time of 8ms or less
im looking at this one the Acer AL1751 it will cost with shipping around 250, little high but the specs are sweet


Can anyone suggest under 200 one thats 17 inch tft active matrix and 8ms or less?

I cant find this model on the forums, so im not sure, the specs are wornderouse on it so I really want to get it, but imin college and cant afford a junk lcd sad.gif, look at the pics on tigerdirect, what do you guys think??

The specifications are good, but until somebody takes the plunge and strips (Or attempts to strip) the monitor, it's ultimate compatability is unknown.

If it is strippable without FFC issues, the specifications look very good.

can you suggest a 17 inch with 8 ms that has been stripped? at least 600:!?

My LG 1750S was easy to strip, and meets the CR requirements, but it's 12ms.

I stripped an Acer 1722h, which has similar specs as the Acer you're looking at. It was easy to strip and had no FFC issues.

I have no clue if they're the same monitor/panel or not.
