Meeper, the colors might be off I didn't calibrate my projector to your pix. I also had to shoot them in 16:9 compressed so they don't like as good as they would in native.

Next, in this one you can see that light will bounce back at the camera making unnatural looking white areas.

Well as for the last two, those are from Everquest. As for the first two, I don't know, looks like a first-person-shooter of some type. I might have to send a friend a link to this...he has no intrest in building a projector at the moment, but he is such an Everquest freak that if he saw it was possible to play on a screen that size he might just need to change his pants.
Looks good!

Oh, and I meant to say thanks for doing the shots Brain, haha. Two days of constant power outages kinda drove that out of my head.

What's going on with the power Meep?
Meeper
Apr 29 2004, 11:38 PM
I wish I was joking. The power has been blipping on and off so much that I turned off the lights last night and read by a camping light, haha. I got fed up with the lights coming on for 40 seconds, then going off for a 5 minutes, then back on, etc, etc. It seems to have ended now though, hopefully. The wierd thing is that only certain houses in the street were affected.
Could be poltergeist activity I guess....

Ignore above question. Just read your other post on the Relisys thread

Meeper,
If power outages like this happen alot, you might want to consider investing in a UPS. You could put the lamp on a non-protected circuit and wire the fan separately and plug into the UPS.
I was just thinking about doing this for a friend of mine here in Ohio who has power outages once a week.
Thanks,
Zendance

Nah, they don't happen a lot. In fact, I cannot recall the last time there was a single power cut, let alone this freak session we had. Seems to have sorted itself all out now though.

Posted this page to the main EQ forums. They messed up the layout of the forums a while ago though (improvements my ass), so might take a while before anyone sees it.

Just posted to the main Ravenshield one too, so should get some people from there.
Yeah, NWN is a cool game. I just couldn't grab a good looking screenshot to send to Brain.

when running these games are they as 'smooth' as they are on a monitor or doe that depends on the lamp and its flicker-rate??

PC games through VGA will display the same refresh/frame-rates as if the mointor were still a monitor. You've got to remember, the computer running the game doesn't know that the monitor is now part of a projector, so there's no change in performance

Mister Meeper
Is this with the Relisys RLT1520 you indicated that you found earlier?
What country was that bought in? The manufacturer seems to only sell in Europe?
The manufacturer shows a pretty picture of it.
