We are getting a lot of ballasts and lamps back with carbon arcing present on the mogul center prong and lamp base. This destroys both the the ballast and the lamp. This also causes other problems such as hard starting and green tint. The lamp is a tight fit to the mogul and we believe that people are not screwing the lamp down far enough.

When you get your mogul bend up the center prong about 3-4mm and tighten the lamp until you know it is making good contact. We will not guarantee any ballast or lamp that shows carbon arcing.
