If I'm watching something, a person or object in a close up looks really sharp. A shot from a distance, like the view from center field looking towards home plate, the batter looks blurry. Is this a lens problem or a limitation of the LCD? I'm using a Samsung 151mp, 25ms refresh rate.

TV (480i) and DVDs I burned myself, not so much when using regular DVDs.

I think its because the immage is blow up quite a bit if you look at on a regular tv you will see the samething except its not as noticable because its on a smaller tv if you go to future shop and look at their projection tv on a football game or baseball you will see it

If it's "sometimes" then it's most likely the signal itself, and not the LCD or lens.
The LCD and lens remain constant, and the picture is what it is. Only the content changes. So it it's very sharp at any time, then what you get blurry is because that's what it's showing.

I am running the same monitor in mine and thats what happens to me as well, what is happeneing is the contrast ratio of this screen is only 300:1 so the smaller something is there are less pixels available for the picture so the resolution looks blurred, blowing the picture up in our projectors only makes it more obvious. the other factor is the signal quality of the source, TV tuner/DVD etc. I notice it the most when they have a full view of a football game and they zoom out, all the players look blurred or not as sharp, of course when they show a close up it's crystal clear.
