Here is what im looking at:

Its the Balance 15" LCD Monitor from walmart 168.00 localy

I did a search on here but nothing with this name Im sure there is a chance its the same as others under a differnt name or am I the first to look at these? (YA right )

Contrast Ratio is too low. look for contrast ratio 450:1 and up.

well thank you but arent some of the smasung's 300 or so?

I know 300 is low but that will juat be an issue with fast /hi res gmaes and such right?

What I was looking for is info on ffc problems or ???

Contrast ratio gives better colour and black levels.

Response time is what gives the frame rates for gaming.

A lower CR is probably not going to hurt that much, but it'll certainly be better with a higher CR. In the end, the idea is to get what you can afford.

Well in that case I spent the bank on the guide. LOL biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

The 20 was well spent.

hmmm now when the new lens set get in the market will be full of deals for the older ones .hmmmmm

ps if you get it(or another one) and its strippable, please add it to the compatible monitors list ;-)

I spent $168 on a Westinghouse 15" with good specs. Got it from bestbuy. It is So easy to strip that you're done before you know it. It is normally 200$. but it goes on sale every now and then. very easy to work with when stripped(3 FFC's to re-attach) as long as the boards are grounded.
