Going for my first projecter here and I have the chance to get a used display model of a Viewsonic VA521 for less than $100. I realize I will probably have to deal with the FFC mess but I can't seem to find one of the 2 recommended monitors and probably couldn't get one that cheap anyway. It is 1024 x 768 but only 400:1 contrast ratio and 25ms response time. http://www.viewsonic.com/products/desktopd.../aseries/va521/

What I am wondering is do y'all think it is worth jumping on or will I be less than impressed with the picture quality. I have no problem waiting for the right monitor deal to come along. Just looking for some friendly advice from those with experience. Thanks!
