i tried using the ffc socket and clamping them together and it broke
so i tried making a clamp and tried a paper clip but cant get the lcd to work

i ordered 2 more ffc extentions and thought i would try to solder the 2 sockets together it looks tedious thought i could solder the whole thing and blow out the area between the pins with compressed air

anyone have any wisdom on this ?

ok i got it
i put 2 30 pin ffc sockets back to back
and after 4 beers to cool my nerves i soldered each pin
and it works whewww
