When mounting the LCD which direction do you mount it?

There's one side that's like glass and one side that's filmlike which the image.

How should the LCD be oriented when I mount it into the enclosure?

Read the guide. Really. smile.gif

If you're using a straight path, then whatever side was front when it was a monitor faces the lamp. If you've got a mirror, then that side faces the triplet. (Unless there's 2 mirrors.)

Does this ACTUALLY matter? Really? I can flip my image any which I way I want through my video card. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't see it being any slower in the draw process.

Yes, it will be slower, because I am fairly sure the card will be rendering everything the right way up and then flipping it, and doing that with 3D could prove a pain.

It makes a lot more sense to do it properly the first place, so you can use different PCs/drivers/cards...

no, won't make any difference to speed as long as its in hardware whic for most decent cards it is.... it just changes its addressing scheme (eg, it starts sscanning at the bottom instead of the top of the screen)
