Very interesting, like to see how much brightness you get out it especially with the corners of your projection. Although, should there be some sort of cooling be processed in your engine? Are you planning on sealing the box with the lid designed for forced air going in with an exit for the heat to escape? Curious

That looks very professional and it should give you some great results I have also purchase a lens for my next PJ, now do you plan on focusing the frensal to the center of the bulb or to the condenser lens since the ark will be magnified.

I got that from IKEA they carry all of size Blanda stainless bowl and I choose the smaller one.
but you have to do some dremel work to cut the buld area out; you need really careful when you doing this. because "they are hard stainless and easy crack" I try to cut little mark down and break by pliers, but I heard quick crack sound from bowl

I thought I will be dead~~~~~~~ they crack following the mark I made just crack by itself.. luck me it didn't cract other place...

thats a blanda blank, not as reflective as the ikea napkin holder. your best bet is to get the linens and things reflector, that is a true sphere and mirror shiny.

That is polish enough to me, as I understand we want most of light reflect back to LCD and prevent lose them to any other place, so the idea we use anything which can reflect the light back meterial then I will feel ok to me... if we need 100% soft light and reflection we need go for those expensive sphere refelector I don't think that is good idea.... will see what's result I will get if I am wrong I might looking something else...
