Hello all.

I have to block the light that comes out of the top of my box, what is the best way to do it? Instead of a even hole, I made about 7 small holes where the air has to come it.

I also have two 12 cm fans, how should I block that light?

I bought "louvre" fan covers, or how ever they are called, for all the holes, but it blocks too much air. I can hear the fans spinning a lot slower when I put them on, plus they don't block the light very well...

Please advice!

Thanks,

Ilia

If you don't mind the looks of it... a filter box built over the slot will give you two advantages.

1. You can offset the slot so that light cannot escape. The larger the offset the better and you can paint the inside black.

2. You can use a large filter that will have a larger surface area and will have less restriction to the airlow. Plus you can go longer between cleanings and can build a box that will accept a readily available sized filter.
