I am new to this and would like any help please. i am trying to find an ffc extension for my 15" lcd magnavox screen model 15mf150v. i am posting pics of cable and connections to board.

Count the number of pins (take photo and zoom in if you have to), then measure width of cable, to determine your pitch. With this info, and your desirer extension length, go shopping! And don't forget your connectors. Have fun!

its 8mm and 16 pin. I have been looking all over and have not yet found out where I can purchase an extension. any help please. i have posted some more pics. the black connector(left pic) is marked cng on the right pic. how do you get pitch?

Yeah they have the 16pin/.5mm pitch extention in the store.

Usually the pitch is about the width in mm divided by the number of contacts.

(edit) sorry bobbycash, didn't mean it to sound that way. I was asking the same questions when I first started too. BTW, when you connect the extension...you face both ends pin to pin then slide it into the joiner that came with it and clamp it down gently.
