Any one have an idea when the pro lens will be available 1 month - 2 months

The only honest answer is; They will be available when they are available.
If I personally had to hazard a guess, I would say we'd be lucky if we saw them in the store before the end of the year (2005), but I wouldn't put money on it.

I think brain said they'll be ready when they're ready. I'm sure all delays are far from intentional and brain is doing his best to make it available as soon as possible, but delays are always unpredictable, if brain were to say when it should be out, people will start complaining if the date comes and its still not ready. So its smart not to give a date.
However he did say, the manufacturer would be sending him samples around the end of september, which is now. So we should be hearing some news soon unless there was another delay.

I have a 17 inch LCD and a 550mm focal frensel.
If i bought the 135mm triplet from DIY Projector company and took it apart to get better results would i be able to get a good enough picture?
Or would i just have to buy the lumenlab triplet and sone new fresnels.

As much as everyone is itching for these lenses, there's no point in getting all excited about them until such time as they get a clean bill of health.
Brain stated in The LL news that the samples should be coming in soon, but since there's no update in the news, it's best to assume that they're not here yet.
Also, once the samples are here, then we'll have to wait until at least 3 projectors have been built using them, and the builders all report success. Whether Brain ships out 2 sets of lenses first, or builds his own box first, then ships out the lenses is also not stated.
So, at present the word is still "patience" -- easier said than done.

I hate when people say that.
Current status is the Pro-lens samples will not be completed until roughly Oct 15.
