This looks like one helluva nice LCD. I've been trying to find something in 4:3 17" that will display 720p, doesn't seem to exist. Usually LCD TVs have bad response time, this one has a 12ms time!

My only concern would be any FFC issues, anyone take apart LCD TVs? Any different than regular LCDs?

I checked www.diyprojectorcompany.com, their fresnels would fit the screen, and I would use it with the standard triplet.

This LCD would allow me to have widescreen, fast response time and good contrast ratio, and the component input would allow me to plug my set top box HDTV receiver so that I can view HDTV on the projector.

Anyone see anything wrong with this?
