I've posted this question in the general discussion, but got no reply. Going to give it another shot:

The cable in question, from a 15" Dell E151FPp manufactured in March 2003:


Extending this would make the placement of components inside my projector much, much, much easier, but I'm not sure what sort of FFC it is. Does anybody know of a source for FFC extension kits? The cable clicks into a connector on the lcd's board, I'm sure it would be easy to daisy-chain them if I anybody knows where I might be able to find another.
