I finished construction of my projector a couple days ago. Before installing the LCD in box I did a three hour heat test and the highest temp was 95.

But today I was running projector and when I left the room my wiring to fans disconnected. I don't know how long it was off, maybe 10 minutes and not sure temperature reached in LCD side of box but seemed too hot.

I noticed now that there are two vertical bands about 80 pixels wide that are slightly discolored(one on right edge, other left of centre). The bands make white appear yellowish.

I bought the LCD new, tested once before stripping and only ran projector for a couple hours total now. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with their LCD, and want to know if it was the heat, and whether I can fix it.
