Full Version: Is my LL triplet smaller??

Yesterday I was taking some measures and realized that my triplet (the cristal part) has 60mm in diameter, not 80 as stated in the guide and everywhere.... is there anything wrong??

Uuh, I dont think so... ask brain, but I doubt you got a bum triplet. He could have shipped you the wrong triplet, but I doubt it. If it looks like the regular triplet, chances are it is.

No, mine's 70mm diameter to the outside of the housing. The pitch circle diameter of the mounting holes is 80mm, maybe that's where it gets its name from.
