Hi All

Starting a 17" Vertical PJ similar to punishers style.

I am insure as to how to orientate the LCD screen since a mirror is introduced? I know with a standard PJ the LCD is fliped vetically and horizontally. I'm planning ahead to find out where my circuit bourd for the lcd will end up.

Cheers

LCD goes in forward and right side up as in regular LCD monitor.

I had the same question - but I don't quite understand what you mean by forward. Could you do a quick sketch.

Sorry for being slow on the uptake.

The LCD will be just like the original LCD monitor. Bulb in place of backlight same way us as in monitor. Regular projectors flip the lcd so light goes in from the side you look at and towards the back light with the bottom of the screen now at the top. With the mirror these changes aren't needed so its exactly like the typical LCD monitor.

Just to clarify - please review the picture and confirm if it is correct.

Thanks!!

Thanks Pagercam for clarifying I suspected as much. Squidmarx Orientate your LCD just like you would a transparency with an overhead projector. So in relation to the pic above. the front of the LCD faces up/ceiling (LCD backlight is your lamp/floor). The bottom of the LCD (ie menu bar in windows as an example) is the Right of the pic or front panel of your projector.

Correct me if i'm wrong.
