Apart from my previous troubles with the eballast and ushio, today my focusing mechanism fell out of my projector and the lens hit the floor face down. It still works ok but its got a little scratch in one spot. Nice. :angry: And just a few hours later I walk upstairs for a few minutes. I come back and...hmm....somethings not right. Somethings differant. Its quiet...THE FAN! For no appearant reason my fan just suddenly decides to stop working! :angry:
When you take into account that I'm not happy with my ushio and getting a differant bulb, I now have a fan to replece, a lens to replace, and a bulb to replace!

I could drink when I was eighteen, but then the federal government decided that it would withhold highway funding to states that didn't raise the drinking age.
That's somewhat of an overreach by the federal government IMHO.

You just dated yourself DeathRay. I remember when they changed it back to 21. I can't remember how old I was but boy was I disappointed.

Depends on the Laws of individual stated here in the US, you can not buy for a minor it is a federal offence unless you are the legal gardian.
Even if your a Bartender and caught by the US Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms serving to a minor it is up to a $10,000 dollar fine and your license taken away depending on each offence, I know here they set up stings at the clubs to catch people doing it, even tho the Doormen are supose to check ID's at the door, and all they do is mark the hands of the minors (which alot put baby oil on hands then go to bathroom and wash it off).
That is insane! Over here you can buy your own at 18, and drink it (as long as not in public) at any age above 4.
But I can see why it makes sense for it to be higher in the US, since you have lower driving ages and such readily available firearms!

Yeah we sell hand grenades in grocery stores.
What I really like is the vending machines that sell ammo, sure makes it convenient when I'm running for my job at the post office!
