Hey, I'am trying to find a LCD monitor that doesn't involve any cable extensions. I really dont see what the point of the compatiable monitor list is. I've bought monitors on the list and the cables required extending. Something has gone wrong when i try to extend the cables so im reluctant to buy a montior that requires me to do so. Could some one recomend a monitor that doesn't require cable extensions, or have a ffc isue and is purchasable today. Thanks

Hyundai L72S. Look at the product review. I think it has a plenty long enough cable. At tigerdirect, it is only $209 until the end of July.

Well you may have to search for a used one on Ebay, but the Samsung 512n is known to be good.

Unfortunately new pricing is higher than your budget, BUT it's a discontinued unit and prices may fall.

Good luck!

I'm not sure if this has issues, but it is new and in your price range ($150) and has some really nice specs. 400:1, 16ms etc.
