Does it matter when you screw the S400DD bulb in which way the arc chamber is facing?

Thank,
Brian

I read somewhere that pointing the nipple (on the arc chamber) away from the LCD is the best way, but really i'm not sure that it matters. (I did install mine with the nipple facing away from the LCD)

Thanks GadgetSmith.

My nipple is facing the lcd. I guess I could turn it around. Will it cause any problems since I started burning it in with the nipple facing the lcd?

I would doubt it... just be sure to give the bulb a nice burn (like a two hours or so) if you decide to change the orientation. You'll notive that the deposits that start on the top will end up being on the bottom after you've burned and then cooled down.
