Hey all,

I just bought the guide and I'm ready to build a fantastic projector. First things first, I want to spend around $500 total on the project. With that in mind, what LCD Panels should I consider? I've tried searching (no luck) and the compatibility list. Do you guys have any recommendations on what has worked well recently (and what's available?)? I want a second opinion.

Your best bet is to get a BenQ 591 refurbish from BenQ they are about &120 to $140 there is no FCC issue That what I have it is working excellent unles you are heavy into game then its a bit slow recovery if you have a good video card the problem is less noticable I have no problem with Flight simulator Anyway good luck with your unit the result will be better than you expected

Need advice on a monitor as well. I started looking into my projector about a month ago and was about to buy a CMV 520d but had to put the project off. Well now I can't find the CMV 520d anywhere. So sad becuase it was <$200 new and <$150 refurbed.

Anyone have a suggestion for a similar monitor with similar specs and price? If so, can you link a site that sells it?

Ok Here's where I got mine, http://store.yahoo.com/benqshopper/15relcdmo.html with the phone number and direct extension of the guy thats over internet sales. Call him before ordering to assure availability.
His name is Klee, (first name).. Phone 949-255-9452 extension 6452

The item numbers you want to check availability for is 99.L9172.b8a (Benq 557s v2) or 99.L9172.asa (Benq 567s v2)
These are both refurbished but have the warranty as new both sell for around $172.00 plush shipping...

Hope this helps
