I have been having a hellish time repairing my BenQ voltage supply. I managed to snag a Benq 557s (not v2) monitor off of ebay for a song and now I know why - the LCD was crushed and the power board had a huge crack trhough it. I repaired the traces and got a working voltage supply, only to find that there is an extra pair of pins on the 557s power supply sad.gif .

I need someone who is handy with a voltage meter to get voltage readings at the output of a benq 557v2 or 567v2 power supply (where it connects to the controller board). The bottom row of pins should all be common, what I need is the voltage between the bottom and top of each "pin set". My attempt at an ASCII diagram:
View facing the connector:

1 3 5 7 9 A
2 4 6 8 0 B

I need to get the following voltages:

between 1 and 2
between 3 and 4
between 5 and 6
between 7 and 8
between 9 and 0
betweeen A and B

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am pretty much out of options with this monitor.

Hey, I have mine unmounted, I'm after placing it inside the box in the next few days, if you don't care waiting 2-3 days I'll get the voltages for you, I've to ground it yet.

AH never mind, I misread your post. I've a FP557s not V2. Good luck with it!

Hey, now it's me who has fried a board (I think). WOn't you happen to have the spare controller board from the fp557s and are willing to sell it to me, eh? smile.gif
