I dont know about you guys but i have been waiting for the pro lenses for like almost a year!!! havent checked the forums a a while, was there another place to get the pro lenses or have you all guys been out of luck also thanks

Yes there is another place to get the pro lense but I don't think it works properly. I to am looking forward to the pro lenses as I want the throw and the size of the optics as I very much would like to go with a 15.4 wuxga on my next build. But in the mean time I am extremely happy with my 15 inch standard lense xga unit. Personly I am glad I did not hold out for the pro lense, as the 15 inch standard lense was a great starting point for me. As its a tried and true venture that many people have gone with and gotten great results and therefore there was lots of help kicking around irc and the forums on the build of it.

And it will make my next build very straight forward ( I mean in the sense that I now have a better understanding on the throws and layout etc ) and will have a easier time making the changes that will be needed for the pro lense system. Not saying that a pro lense system could not be done on a first build, but I am very glad I went the route I did. As DVD movies with ffdshow look damn good as do 720p and 1080i feeds scaled back to 576p. I can't complain in anyway, my brightness is very even and bright, and I sit 16 feet back from a 10' or 120" diag 4:3 screen, 8'x6' screen or 8'x4.5' 16:9 screen. And at that distance I have no noticable screen door at xga resolutions.
